So why doesn’t RMI post all of their information for general public access? Our technical model is one of project specific information for project specific individuals. Historically speaking who needs information that may not even be current or even project applicable simply because that is all you could find after hours of on-line searching? Hence, we screen projects specific information for both all parties for project applicability. We only want our products or technical information to be used on projects where all project team participants are on the same page. We firmly believe that when all participants are on the same page, projects realize intent of design, come in at budget, a reduction in change orders and reduced liability exposure for all parties.
As a Contractor, Specifier or Owner, utilizing an RMI direct log-in is essential to accessing information regarding our most current technical, MSD, specifications, details, manuals, testing, bulletins and pricing. You can also manage your project as an individual or design build team utilizing member/access designation with just the information individuals really need on a timely / accurate basis.
RMI believes a timely sharing of updated & new information is key to project success. Designated users receive real-time notifications when updated or new information is posted, be it for an individual project or current updates to RMI manuals, templates, specifications, drawings, data sheets, bulletins etc. All individual project participants have their own secure log-in for individual project folders as well as group folders in which access is limited to RMI Technical Services and designated participant information. All participants of a project team, based upon designation, receive real time notifications as project information evolves. In the near future, RMI anticipates optional real time working/sharing documents. As an example, contractors would be able utilize real-time completion of project documents such as warranty registration, close-out, payment and issuance.
